Attention Publishers!

All the links above are to chapters that are unfinished and constantly subject to revision. Continuing work on this book is an "iterative process:" if the completed book is to be well integrated, work further along in the book must "feed back" and prompt revisions in the earlier chapters.  Dates of the latest revision will appear at the end of the chapter.

It is not likely that the finished book will appear at this website -- not if, as intended, the book is to be published in hard copy by an establishing publishing house. Few if any publishers would tolerate an internet posting, and thus access to a free copy of a work intended for retail sale. Once a publisher is obtained and a contract signed, I will follow the instructions of that publisher regarding the posting of the work-in-progress at this site.

In the meantime, you are welcome to read and comment on these chapters. Comments, suggestions, and criticisms may be sent to me at: gadfly@igc.org .  Please bear in mind that this work, while incomplete, is nonetheless under copyright.
