ON POLITICS:

Notes of a Reluctant Radical

"He alone is worthy of life and freedom,
who each day does battle for them anew."

Goethe

Most of these brief pieces were written specifically for the internet, appearing first either in The Online Gadfly or The Crisis Papers.  Some of this material has been adapted and included in Conscience of a Progressive.  Accordingly, the first listing under these topics will be the relevant chapters in the book.

Many Crisis Papers editorial essays, not directly pertinent to politics, will be found among The Gadfly Editorials.  All internet editorials (published first by The Online Gadfly and The Crisis Papers) will be identified by a header, "The Gadfly Bytes" along with the date of publication.  In addition, editorials that have been assimilated into Conscience of a Progressive will be so indicated.

A complete list of those Crisis Papers internet essays may be found here.
